Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
• Keeps shipping/receiving area organized, clean, in order, and swept
• Observe all safety and security procedures for the assigned area. Uses equipment and materials properly and reports potentially unsafe conditions to management.
• Must be PIT certified or possess the experience and ability to achieve certification
• Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers.
• The employee must be able to lift up to 75 lbs - The work environment is exposed to outside elements such as dust, odors, and cold/hot air.
